The research of bloods velocity analysis have been done to determine the effect of the
Hypertension and Non Hypertension patient's to the bloods flow velocity in the carotid artery and
determine the relationship between bloods pressure and carotid artery diameter and pulsatility
index of the blood flow velocity in arteries of Hypertension and Non Hypertension patients.
Collecting of data was conducted by using the tool directly to the patients with complaints against
hypertension, so that the data obtained from the device directly by using color Doppler equation
and compared with the results of these tools. From the measurement of bloods flow velocity in Non
Hypertension patients have got results obtained ranged was 394 mm.s
-1
to 595 mm.s
-1
with the
highest pressure was 130/90 mmHg in the bloods flow velocity of 595 mm.s
-1
, while in
Hypertension patients, the value of the average velocity of blood 283 mm.s
-1
to 332 mm.s
-1
with the
highest pressure 190/110 mmHg in the bloods flow velocity of 252 mm.s
-1
were find out that bloods
flow velocity was inversely related to the bloods pressure. Diameter of artery related to the bloods
velocity that smaller arteries would be occurs in higher pressure, whereas the relation of bloods
pressure to the pulsatility index shown that on the higher pulsatility index was accur to decreasing
of bloods pressure as well of Hypertension and Non Hypertension patients were causing due
abnormalities of heart function.
