Abstract

The study design is RAK. Animals used male mice with as many as 28 months of age ±2-3 tails were divided into 7 groups, group I wound without any treatment, wound smeared Vaseline group II, group III Luka smeared Bephanten, group IV smeared Karamunting bark extract 20%, group V smeared ointment 40% Karamunting bark extract, bark extract group VI smeared Karamunting 60% and the last group VII smeared Karamunting stem stew using mineral water. mice were wounded in the hip area along the 1.5 cm using skapel. Every day measurement of the length wound in each group. Parameter Measurement observation that the wound length, the percentage of wound closure and descriptive observations are displayed in the form of images by observing the length of the wound, the wound shut, the existence of the scab, scab release and the growth of hair around the wound. statistical analysis using non-parametric analysis of single factorial, using Kruskal Wallis test, if it looks real difference it will be tested further by Mann Whitney. Results of the study visits are descriptive acquired time (days) for wound closure perfectly namely group I (Luka without treatment): 17 days, group II (wound ointment smeared Vaseline): 13 days, the group III Luka smeared Bephanten: 12 days, group IV (smeared extract stem Karamunting 20%): 9 days, group V (smeared extract stem Karamunting 40%): 11 days, the group VI smeared extract stem Karamunting 60%): 16 days, and the last group VII (smeared stew stem Karamunting use water minerals): 10 days. The time of wound closure in the fastest group IV than in group I, II, III, V, VI and VII. Long analysis of injuries among the treatments every day in the analysis using the Kruskal Wallis non-factorial, obtained results which of the various treatments, things look significantly different, then no further tested using the Mann Whitney. Based upon the results of peneliian concluded that the extract stem Karamunting 20% ??effect in speeding up the healing process of wounds on the skin of mice seen as descriptive with some parameters used, while the result of statistical analysis showed extract stem Karamunting administration with other treatments was not significantly different.
