Has conducted research with the title "Phytochemicals and Toxicity Test Test (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) Leaf Extract Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris). This study aims to determine the leaf extract kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) had secondary metabolites and determine toxicity with LC50 values after addition of kelakai leaf extract (Stenochlaena palustris). The concentration required to kill shrimp larvae do the manufacture of crude extract, fraction of n-hexane and ethyl acetate fraction with some degree of concentration which is then inserted into the plate containing the larval shrimp, then counted the dead shrimp larvae. The test results of secondary metabolites kelakai leaf extracts showed that ethanol, n-hexane fraction and ethyl acetate containing alkaloids, steroids and flavonoids. The test results showed that kelakai leaf BSLT most active fraction is the fraction of ethyl acetate with LC50 values of 92.6451 ppm.

Kata Kunci : phytochemicals, toxicity, LC50, artemia salina.
