Analisis Formalin pada Tahu di beberapa Tempat di Samarinda dengan Metode Spektrofotometri ViS

Analysis of formaldehyde on tofu in a few places in Samarinda has done by directly analyzing and with immersion. Immersion process which aimed had purpose to found whether there was the possibility of soaking time could reduce levels of formaldehyde in tofu. Measurement or analysis levels of formaldehyde was performed using spechtrophotometry Vis. Tofu was weighed as much as 20 grams from each samples than do analysis and measured the levels contained with spechtrophotometry Vis with wavelength on 568 nm. The result that obtained were the lowest level was -8,4509 mg/kg and the highest level was 344,1172 mg/kg. Then for the immersion process was taken from samples with the highest level. Soaking with varying period time of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes and 120 minutes. From the result that obtained on 120 minutes was not able to reduce existing levels of formaldehyde as whole. The result from analysis on 120 minutes was 229,5 mg/kg.
