IDENTIFIKASI BASEMENT ROCK PADA ZONA LONGSOR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE GEOLISTRIK (STUDI KASUS WILAYAH KELURAHAN SELILI KECAMATAN SAMARINDA ILIR KOTA SAMARINDA KALIMANTAN TIMUR)

Landslides was one of the natural disasters that were cause land damage, residential
buildings, and even claimed lives. An area was declared to have the potential of landslides if it
meets the following requirements, the slope was quite steep, have sliding plane of coating
subsurface impermeable (semipermeable), and there was enough water to saturating the land on
the sliding plane. Conditions hills and steep slopes make the Selili region belonging into the
frequent landslides. The aims of this research to identify potential weak zone of landslides based
on the geoelectric data interpretation contained in the study sites. The data obtained in the
research was the apparent resistivity data using the method of geoelectric resistivity by
measurement technique of Vertical Electric Sounding (VES) Schlumberger configuration. Data was
collected as much as three lines, each line has a length of 100 meters. To display the resistivity
values at every line used computer software, so it looks a color image depicting resistivity change
at each layer of rock. To estimate the direction of landslide, then each line merged into one. The
Results of the research showed the identification of the location of the sliding plane of each line
and direction of the landslide in the same direction of the slope of the sliding plane.
